We just recently added a new MD1200 enclosure and new H800 RAID Controller to a T610 server.
We noticed rather poor raw read performance (a little less than 200 MBytes/Sec) with no server load and no applications running. Upon further examination we saw that the existing H700/Internal RAID was showing the same lower performance, previously it was running about 500 MBytes/Sec.
We tested the MD1200 on another chassis (T320 w/H810) and it performed well, about 600MBytes/Sec. Dell sent us another H800 (original new one also had a battery issue) but the performance in the T610 did not improve.
The T610 is running Windows Server 2008 R2 with all current Microsoft updates. BIOS is at v6.4.0.
The Power Profile is set to Maximum Performance.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this issue?
