Hi,
I just got myself a very nice T430 to replace my aging T410.
I just love that machine... but my trouble is as follows:
- The T430 I purchased was a previously-racked T430. (I think it was ordered as RACK since the front panel has the VGA port)..
- As such, it is lacking its cover cover and pedestal feet.
I'm operating the server standing on the floor and I'm concerned about the missing cover (for heat) and the feet (for vibrations).
I contacted Dell to purchase those parts but they said they couldn't sell them to me.. That's really unfortunate.. :(
Would anyone who has converted a T430 to RACK (and removed both the cover and feet) be willing to sell these parts to me?
