I have a T610 out at a customer that was built in February 2010. It's been running great forever, but they had some weird power outages and a UPS failure last week. Ever since, the fans are running full blast and the idrac cannot be accessed in any way.
I've looked at previous posts about this issue and done the bios short, the unplug, hold button 20 secs, plug in, etc. but to no avail.
I always see the SYSTEM SERVICES DISABLED error at the top right when the server powers on. The memory configuration is not able to be skipped. After the boot sequence finishes, it says idrac6 communication failure and then in blue/yellow ALERT idrac6 not responding, Rebooting.
It then reboots, goes through the entire process again, at what time it will boot into windows normally. I was able to update the system BIOS to the latest version, but no idrac utilities work at all. They all return Get inventory from LCL failure.
At this point I'm guessing I need to replace the motherboard. Any way to tell exactly which motherboard it is based off the service tag?
