PE T110 RAID is degraded. Unassigned and re-assigned global hot spare, no rebuild option.

Hello everyone!

As the title suggests, one of our clients has a PE T110. There was an extended power failure, which caused the server to shutoff.

Now, the drive itself is still healthy, but it shows as degraded. When I went into the RAID controller, it showed that the drive was a global hot spare, but it was only as a spare.

What I did was unassign it as a hotspare, and assign it to the array. I have no options in the RAID controller pre-boot environment to rebuild, even though I can see that there are 2 drives in the array. I can also not do this within OpenManage... It simply says No Available Tasks.

Now, what I can tell you is that the drive that was as the hot spare was/is Drive 0:0, and the currently active drive is 0:1.

How can we rebuild this RAID1 array without data loss? (These are both DELL-branded Western Digital drives, on the built-in PERC S100 software controller.

Thanks in advance!!
