We have a PowerEdge T310 with S100 controller.
2 Raid-1 Arrays
Array 1 2x2GB Sata drives
Array 2 2x250GB SSD
One of the drives in array 1 failed. Replaced the dead drive with a new (unformatted blank) and it doesn't rebuild. Tried to assign as hot spare through OMSA but get the error "Storage Management only displays those disks that can be used as a hot spare. There are currently no disks that are available, large enough, or of the correct type to be used as a hot spare for this virtual disk."
