PE T420 with 8TB SATA HDDs

Hello,

I have a PowerEdge T420 with PERC H710 controller and I'm looking for adding some 8TB SATA hard drives. The local sales rep offers me "400-ATKV - Dell 8TB 7.2K RPM SATA 6Gbps 512e 3.5in Hot-plug HDD", but tells me it's compatible only with the newest 14G servers and to buy it at my own risk.

Has anybody some experience with these HDDs trying to add them to a 12G server? Can I add 8TB SATA to T420?
