Add 4*16Gb to 16*4Gb already installed in dual-CPU R730?

Hi,

We have a Dell R730 server equipped with dual CPUs. It's currently configured with 64Gb of RAM comprised of 16*4Gb modules. While I haven't looked inside the box, I presume the "white" and "black" slots are completely filled.

Now we want to upgrade this server to 128Gb, and we've received 4*16Gb from our supplier.

I presume we need to install these 4 -- divided equally by CPU -- into the "white" slots, and move all the 4Gb DIMMs from the "white" to the "green" slots, so that we end up with 4*16Gb in the "white", and 16*4Gb in the "black" and "green" slots.

Is this correct? Or should we be populating more of the "white" slots with the 4Gb DIMMs?
