We just took in a T110-II with the addon Perc H200 RAID controller
We want to use it as following:
2x SAS 10k 600GB HDD RAID 1 (DATA)
2x SATA SSD 120GB RAID 1 (OS BOOT)
Now the SAS 10k drive I am able to create the RAID 1 volume, however when I try to create the SSD RAID 1 volume it keeps telling me it has a problem writing to the non-volatile memory. Then the controller menu goes to a super slow "laggy" mode. Requires a reboot, but then it get stuck at the "initializing ..." screen. The only way to get back in to the Perc H200 menu is to disconnect all of the SSDs.
The SSD I am using ARE consumer level Kingston KC300 that I also purchased from Dell.
What am I doing wrong?
