I'm using System Center Operations Manager 2012 R2 and the Dell PowerEdge MP 5.2. I'm using 5.2 because I have 2970 machines I need to discover and the later versions do not support that. OMSA is 7.4.0.2 on all my servers.
I get an alert a few times per week from random servers that says "DSM Data Manager Stopped" with the description "DSM Shared Service is in a Critical State as the Service has stopped. Try Restarting the Service."
When I log onto the server, no DSM services are stopped. When I try restarting them, the alert does not clear. I have to reboot the server to get the alerts to clear.
How do I resolve this?
