Hi all, hoping someone can help me with the following:
I have one particular VRTX chassis (FW 2.0) that we've deployed for a customer. We have 16 x 2.5" disks installed (all 1.2TB 10k SAS) and we've configured split 14 of these into 2 Virtual Disks (1 is RAID-10 and 1 is RAID-6. We have 2 remaining disks in the chassis that are sitting in a 'ready' state.
As all teh disks are the same specification, i'd like to assign both of these to be 'global spare' disks.
However, when I try and and assign these disks to be spares, either globally or individually to each of the 2 virtual disks as dedicated spares, it fails with the CMC page throwing the following error:
"JCP003 Job Failed.
Detailed Description:
An iDRAC reboot caused a failure of the scheduled jobs.
Recommended Action:
Retry the update and schedule the update job."
Can anyone shed any light please?? From my initial research, JCP003 seems to be a fairly generic error code. I've also tried fialing over the CMC to the passive controller but this doesn't help.
Thanks,
JB.
